I’M LINDSAY, a writer, editor and content strategist living in New York City. I’ve spent more than a decade working in every facet of digital media, from on-camera reporting to recipe production to editorial direction.

After graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, I began my career as a freelance writer and TV closed captionist before becoming an entertainment reporter for Broadway.com. I was soon promoted to Features Editor, where I managed to interview my celebrity crushes Paul Rudd, Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal without fainting or peeing my pants even once.

As I immersed myself in New York’s performing arts scene, I was inspired to write my first YA novel, Someday, Somewhere, which was published by Kids Can Press in 2018. After seeing more Broadway shows than anyone should legally be allowed to watch in their lifetime, I moved on to lead PureWow’s New York edition with my knowledge and passion for my favorite city on earth.

After a year running the New York edition, I was promoted to Editorial Director of PureWow, leading the site’s Food, Recipes, Wellness and Wine verticals for five years. Then, one morning during the pandemic, I was bouncing my daughter to sleep while on my third Zoom meeting of the day and realized I was ready for a change. I am now thrilled to be back offering my writing, editing and consulting services on a freelance basis while working on my next novel.
